Plumticket Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Plumticket, operated by Plumticket (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Plumticket platform at plumticket.com (“Platform”). This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including client organizations (“Clients”) and ticket buyers (“Buyers”).

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.


1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Collected from Clients (Organizers)

When you create a Client account, we collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Organization name
  • Password (stored in encrypted form — we never store plain-text passwords)
  • Brand preferences (colors, fonts, logo)
  • Venue information you provide
  • Support contact information you choose to display publicly

When you connect your bank account through Stripe, Stripe collects and processes your financial information directly. We do not store your bank account details. We store only your Stripe Connect account ID and onboarding status.

1.2 Information Collected from Buyers

When a Buyer purchases a ticket through the Platform, we collect:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (only if the Client has enabled this field for their events)
  • Order details (event, date, ticket type, quantity, amount paid)

Payment information (credit or debit card details) is collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We do not see, store, or transmit your card number, CVV, or expiration date.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • Browser type and version
  • Device type
  • IP address
  • Pages visited and actions taken on the Platform
  • Date and time of access

This information is used for security, performance monitoring, and improving the Platform.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process ticket purchases and deliver tickets
  • Send order confirmation emails and ticket delivery emails
  • Notify Clients of new purchases and account activity
  • Process monthly rebate transfers to Clients
  • Provide customer support
  • Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized access
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations
  • Improve the Platform

We do not use your information for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.


3. How Buyer Information Is Shared with Clients

When a Buyer purchases a ticket to a Client's event, the following Buyer information is made available to that Client through their dashboard:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if collected)
  • Order details

This sharing is necessary for the Client to manage their event, verify attendance, and provide customer service to Buyers. Clients are responsible for handling Buyer information in compliance with applicable privacy laws. We are not responsible for a Client's use of Buyer information beyond what is necessary for event management.


4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform. These providers are contractually required to handle your information securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Stripe — payment processing and Client bank account onboarding. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Supabase — database storage and authentication. All data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure.

Resend — transactional email delivery, including order confirmations and ticket delivery emails.

We do not share your information with any other third parties except as required by law.


5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform's services.

  • Client account data is retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period after account closure for legal and business purposes.
  • Buyer order and ticket data is retained for a minimum of three (3) years for recordkeeping and dispute resolution purposes.
  • Automatically collected data (logs, IP addresses) is retained for up to ninety (90) days.

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 9. We will honor deletion requests to the extent permitted by law and our legitimate business needs.


6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include:

  • Encrypted storage of passwords
  • Row-level security controls limiting data access to the appropriate organization
  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Access controls limiting which personnel can access the database

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information using industry-standard practices.


7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you
  • The right to correct inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion of your information
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing of your information
  • The right to data portability

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Illinois residents should be aware that we do not collect biometric data of any kind.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy
